As of August 2007, Lackawanna County Controller, John Mellow, performed departmental audits of all the county row offices. In addition he audited the Single Tax Office, run by tax collector Ken McDowell. The links to each audit are provided below, and you'll need Adobe Reader to view the documents.

The audit for the office of the Recorder of Deeds covers the period of 2001-2005. Evie McNulty is currently holding the position of Recorder of Deeds. Click here to view the audit and see how she performed her financial duties.

The Clerk of Judicial Records, also known as the Prothonotary, is Mary Rinaldi. Her office was audited for the years 2003-2005. Click here to view that office's performance.
