illegal wiring running out the bottom. 7/17/05

|
| These black wires are 60 amp wires, not jacketed and not in conduit, as required. |
(4) Below: Picture of 60 amp and 15 amp wires tied-in at the top of the pole. It is one of the most illegal and
deadliest connections of the electrical world. Why? Because if shorted, the 15 amp line could fry
and disintergrate in flames before the 60 amp breaker which controls the automatic safety disconnect feature will
kick off. It won't kick off until it more than 60 amps is demanded, IF it does. More than 15 amps demanded from
a 15 amp line gets it hot. Anyone who touches the melting line can fry with it. And, the 15 amp line hangs from trees
across the street at child height, some with bare ends. Imagine that hot line running inside your walls while you sleep. Fire! Death!
Breaker size and wire size must match, as well as wire size must match it's amp demand. For example: 15 amp
line = 15 amp breaker. If it has a demand placed on it that exceeds the 15 amps, the breaker will automatically kick off.
Place that same line on a 20 amp breaker and you have a tragedy waiting to happen. Place it on a 60 amp breaker and you have
gross negligence. Thank you Mayor Doherty.

(10) Below: Picture of the 15 amp electrical line that runs from the pole, where the 60 amp line is secured at the top,
and over to the group of trees across the street in the parking lot across from the pool.

(13) Below: Try hanging outlets from the trees in your yard. Illegal. No conduit, not fastened and not Ground Fault Interruptors
(GFI) as required for all outdoor outlets.

|
(16) Below: You can roam through the park and find circuit breaker panel boxes everywhere with absolutely no security latches
on them. I watched an elderly women open this box and play with the switches tying to get power into the pavilion in the background.
No "Danger" or "Warning" signs as per code.

(2) Below: The back view of the pic to the left, in the background is the ride and the pool area, note the
60 amp line going up the back of the wooden post. This 60 amp line is strong enough to kill a horse and it should have been
in a protective conduit. What if curious children decided to play around there? I was told that it's been this
way for two years.

| (This 60 amp line runs up the post, over to a pole and illegally connects to a 15 amp line) |
(5) Below I'm pointing out to Bill Fiorini, Bob Scopeletti (hidden) and Erin McGowan (park manager) which way
the e-coli flows (to a grove path) from the raw sewage leaking out of the ground behind me just above the zoo in the
grove. I then directed their attention to the threatening electrical situation as seen in pictures (1) and (2). Mr. Scopelettit
said the electrical work was approved by an authorized Underwriter. (The underwriter sticker is blank) I told
him that was absolutely impossible considering the serious nature of the violation. He still agrued back tha it was safe. I
responded that there are no legal provisions that could allow unprotected wires to be situated at that level. I then
told him that there were many very illegal outlets and bare wires hanging from trees across the street about 3' from groung
level. He was adamant the wiring was safe. Date: 8/4/05

(8) Below: The 60 amp line exits the new conduit and then proceeds toward the Refreshment Stand. It then feeds an
electical box on the pole, and then feeds an outlet under the eave of the Stand. Electricians disconnected the
15 amp line from the 60 amp line, and appropriately so.

|
(11) Below: This is an electrical wire hanging from a tree in the parking lot across from the pool and Refreshment
Stand. Whatever electrical device was connected to it was apparently ripped away. It is about 3' off the ground, perfect
height for a curious child.

|
(14) Below: Closeup of closer outlet in picture to the left. This in not only "not" a GFI outlet, but it is not controlled
by a GFI breaker. It's been disabled by the electricains who corected the exposed 60 amp line, but I can still see how kids
might fool around with it using it as a swing or something.
| (14) |

|
(17) Below: This is the circuit panel box that controlled the outlets that recklessly hung from the trees. Anyone can
open this box at any time and energize all the circuits.

(3) Below: The unprotected 60 amp wires (black wires) run up the support post, across to the telephone pole, up the pole and
and then accept a 15 amp, unprotected circuit that illegally spans the road and connects to outlets and bare wires that just
hang loosely from trees.

|
| If we did this, we'd be cited by Fiorini's Office |
(6) Below is a picture of what the "once-exposed" 60 amp line looked like within a few hours of the same day
I pointed out the violation to Mr. Scopeletti. After I pointed it out, he and Bill Fiorini went to look at it. That afternoon,
certified electricians were there making quick work of correcting the violation by installing conduit to the panel box,
under the ground and up the pole. So much for approval by an Underwriter. The electrician who made the correction believed
that the Underwriter had only inspected the panel box and that someone else subsequently appeared and ran the exposed
60 amp line out of the box and up the pole without a required inspection. Would love to see the permit on that.
And, they also made the illegal 60 amp/15 amp connection at the top of the pole without an inspection, which connection would
never pass. Underwriters are not so careless as to expose themselves to legal problems by giving the thumbs-up to grossly
illegal wiring in highly public places, whether the work was done by a licensed electrical or not.
| (6) |

|
| The 60 amp wires are in conduit now and the conduit goes underground to the pole. |
(9) Below: Outlet at eave where a long run of
Xmas lights plugs in, "18 gauge light wire" on a 60 amp breaker!!
| (9) |

|
(12) Below: This closeup shows that the ends are bare. This is absolutely gross negligence and incompetence.
Kids leave the pool wet, as do adults, and there is no better conductor for electricity than water or wet clothing, none.
Demand Scopeletti's resignation.

|
(15) Below: Closeup of the second, distant outlet in picture 13. Same scenario as the outlet in picture 14. I was
told the outlets were dead. However, as you will see in pics 16 and 17, the panel boxes can be opened and anyone can energize
them at any time for whatever the motivation.
| (15) |

|
(18) Below: An electrical box near the zoo. Two lines protruding out the sides are both in conduit, as required.
All the panel boxes should look like this, but you will see differently in the following pictures.
